Position Summary

We’re seeking a Jr. Project Manager to help oversee several important current projects, and help facilitate project-related activities on an ongoing basis. To be a successful candidate, you will know how to provide cross-disciplinary coordination and collaboration between several departments, ensuring target dates are met, dependencies are identified, and deliverables are achieved. You are a creative problem-solver and a dedicated advocate for order, knowing just when to switch focus from detail to the big picture and knowing how to step into a project mid-stream and drive it to completion.   • Oversee multiple projects, managing the risks and resolving issues that affect their scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams in multiple locations to establish project plans and schedules.
  • Measure, monitor, and report on progress to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the product roadmap.
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, schedules, and scope changes related to assigned projects.
  • Lead and coordinate communication of launch activities for both internal and external parties. Identify and continually work towards making improvements in GoAnimate’s project management processes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years project management experience.
  • Creative, flexible problem-solver.
  • Positive and motivated self-starter with minimal need for direction (Able to work autonomously and approach problems proactively).
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized – ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with process improvement and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with SaaS products / web-based applications.
  • Working experience with various project management applications – SmartSheet, TeamGantt, Trello, etc.
  • Experience with G Suite, Office, other general computing applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.


This is a full-time position based in our San Mateo, CA office. We can only consider candidates eligible to work in the United States.
